The moon is an ancient spiritual symbol, an archetypal element that formed thousands of years ago, when people sought to understand and interpret the powerful physical and metaphysical influence it exerted upon them. It is the light that shines in the dark sky, the World Soul (Plotinus), the Mother of the universe (Plutarch). The radiant, imposing satellite of the Earth that enchants and ignites the imagination.

Moon - Selene.
Selene, the goddess of love and fertility. The feminine principle, the womb that fills and empties every 29 days, similar to the female body that matures within it every month, ready to conceive and give life. But it is also she who changes faces, forms, phases. She is the girl - Artemis, the fertile mother - Selene, and the elderly woman - Hecate.
